COVID-19 Information

Way Way Off-Broadway takes the safety and health of our performers, production staff, volunteers, and guests seriously.  Throughout the past year, we have strived to be a positive member of our community by complying with and adhering to any and all public health orders related to the COVID-19 pandemic, which ultimately resulted in us having to cancel all performances and events during that time.

As we move forward and return to live performances, we are still mindful that their still exists a risk to our community from COVID-19, and would like to share our plans and policies for all future WWOB events that will make our theatre experiences both enjoyable and safe for everyone.

We will be following all Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and NM Department of Health (NM DOH) guidelines and recommendations for our events and will adopt any changes to the current CDC or NM DOH guidelines as necessary.  We are eager to begin live performances again, and welcome everyone back to the theatre, however, we understand that there may be hesitation and resistance from some in our community that still have concerns over the spread of COVID-19.  Ultimately, individuals must make their own decisions regarding attending public events in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By attending a Way Way Off-Broadway Theatre Company event in any capacity you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
