WWOB Staff
Aside from the Board of Directors, Way Way Off-Broadway is operated day-to-day by its volunteer staff, who are responsible for planning and coordinating productions along with the individual Production Teams. Staff members are appointed by the Board of Directors and Artistic Director.
Summer Souza, Artistic Director
Summer Souza is a founding member of Way Way Off-Broadway Theatre Company and currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors. Summer has been involved in theatre for many years, and has also worked on several short film and web series projects. She was awarded Best Actress at the 2014 Roswell FilmFest Shootout for her performance in the short film, We The People, and was honored in 2016 as a Outstanding Citizen by the City of Roswell.
Tony Souza, Managing Director
Tony is a founding member of Way Way Off-Broadway Theatre Company and currently serves as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors. Tony has worked both on stage and behind-the-scenes in the theatre for a number of years. Outside of the theatre, Tony works as a firefighter/paramedic for the City of Carlsbad Fire Department, and is also an adjunct faculty instructor for ENMU-Roswell’s EMS Education Program. He is also a recent graduate of Leadership Roswell, Class of 2018.
Devon Bullock, Music Director
Devon Bullock has been a part of musical theatre for over 15 years, and has worked with WWOB since 2015. She has recently joined the WWOB Board of Directors as Secretary. Devon has a bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Lubbock Christian University and has been teaching piano and voice for nearly ten years. She has a passion for educating people about performance and music and would love to see Roswell become a city know for the performing arts in both the community and in schools.
Cydni Vandiver, Education Director
Cydni Vandiver teaches history at the New Mexico Military Institute. She has her Masters in History and is currently working to complete her Masters in Education Administration. Cydni has worked both on stage and behind-the-scenes with WWOB for several years. She enjoys performing in musicals and has been so glad that she found a local theatre group that works to not only put on stunning performances, but works to give back to the community through its education programs.
Michele Massey, Outreach Coordinator
Michele’s passion for theatre began in 1979 when she played Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker. Since then she has been involved in over 100 productions in Kansas, Nebraska, and New Mexico. She loves doing character roles with accents and loves working with young people in all aspects of theatre production. Michele has worked with WWOB since 2016 and has performed on stage as well as worked backstage on several productions for the company.
Tarra Morgan, Lead Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist
Tarra Morgan was raised in Roswell, NM. She has been a cosmetologist for 18 years and a cosmetology instructor at Olympian Academy of Cosmetology for 11 years. Tarra is a certified licensed HD Makeup Artist and is screen credited on several films. Tarra has worked on several local theatre productions, and has created the looks for all the characters featured in WWOB productions. In addition to her work backstage, Tarra has performed in several WWOB productions.
Casey Bedford, Box Office Manager
Casey Bedford has been working with Way Way Off-Broadway Theatre Company since the beginning, having worked in the front-of-house and backstage, and has even performed on stage. Casey lives in Roswell with her husband and daughter. She is happy to be working with Way Way Off-Broadway, and believes very strongly in the mission of the organization to enhance the theatre in our community.
